The Mullumbimby District Neighbourhood is a gem in the heart of Mullumbimby. Serving the entire community it assists with all kinds of services and provides a space for activities that most people would not even know about. They have served over 25,000 community meals in the past two years.

If you have a new baby in the family, keep an eye out for the baby massage classes that will be starting again in 2018. Linda is a qualified and gifted facilitator and new mums, dads and grandparents can all learn massage techniques that can calm and soothe baby. It is also a great opportunity for new mums to get out of the house and get some nurturing and a change of space.

Play tunes is also a great activity for toddlers up to four years old. Dancing is fun and it’s great to get the kids out having fun with other kids.

Womens’ support services are available everyday and general community support is also. You have to ring to make an appointment, but if you are really doing it tough they may be able to help. Community meals are available from 12.30 – 2pm Monday to Thursday and their is a soup kitchen on Wednesday nights.
