JQuery image slider, Royalslider would have to be one of my favourite jquery slider plugins for wordpress.  It is very flexible and has many features.  You can adjust the size, the transitions and the even embed and style html code into the image itself.  It supports video and has many different templates.

Soliloquy Jquery Image Slider

Speed is something that is becoming more important with websites. Sliders are falling out of favour a bit especially in mobile layouts as they take far too long to load. That said there is plenty of room for an optimised slider on a huge smart television screen. Soliloquy is probably the fastest loading slider out there. This is another premium plugin so costs money but is well worth it to give you site the edge and professionalism you want.

This jquery image slider is really amazing. It costs money but the options are endless. It can show images, videos, captions and has many modern 3d transitions and animations.
As well as this it is fully responsive and mobile optimised.

IGallery

IGallery is not so much a jquery image slider as a premium gallery plugin. An interactive photo gallery that fits well with creative and corporate portfolio websites.  It s possible to create beautiful modern galleries with smooth animations.  There is good support for this plugin. The intuitive interface is drag and drop and you can create an unlimited number of galleries.
